Darrell founded BDK in 2009 alongside his wife, Brenda, and is the current Owner. Darrell enjoys shark tooth hunting in Venice Beach, Florida, where he spends his winters soaking up the sun. Darrell loves being able to provide for his community and customers with products he is proud of. He also loves being able to work with his two sons, brother, and his granddaughter.

Brenda founded BDK in 2009 along with her husband, Darrell and is also the current Owner. Brenda loves “the thrill of the hunt” when it comes to shopping. She is always looking for the best deal. She also loves a good book. Brenda loves the atmosphere of BDK and being able to meet so many nice people.

Jason has been a Manager here at BDK since 2010, and works for his father, Darrell. Jason is the proud owner of our mascot, Shadow. He loves being able to work with family and enjoys helping his community.

Eric has worked here at BDK as our Controller since 2012. He works for his father, Darrell, and with his wife, Jamie K., brother, Jason, uncle, Micheal and daughter, Casey. Eric loves to travel and visit new, exciting places. He enjoys being able to give back to his hometown and community through the store.

Jamie K. has been our Accountant since 2012. She loves Shih Tzus and has been a volleyball coach for over 12 years. Jamie works with her husband, Eric and daughter, Casey. Jamie loves the family atmosphere at BDK and enjoys seeing all of the happy customers.

Jamie S. started his career here at BDK in 2014 as our Building Materials Manager. A fun fact about Jamie is that he is easy to get along with. He loves the atmosphere of the people and the customers.

James is a Manager here at BDK and started his career with us in 2014 with his father, Jamie S. James loves to play frisbee golf in his free time. He enjoys being able to meet and help our wonderful customers every day.

Micheal is our Deliver Driver here at BDK. He has been with the company since 2014 and works for his brother, Darrell. Micheal always has a good attitude and loves the family atmosphere he gets walking into BDK.

Tyler started his job here in 2017 as a store Associate. Tyler enjoys photography and loves animals. He really loves being able to help our customers with their needs and assisting them in home, and pet projects.

Casey worked at BDK growing up but started her part-time work here as an Associate in 2018. She has three cats and played college volleyball for three years. Casey loves being able to work for her papa, Darrell and dad, Eric while doing the work she loves.

Bill has worked at BDK as an Associate since 2018. Bill is a retired school principal, he loves to fish, find fossils, hunt, and loves his wife. He loves BDK because of its family-oriented atmosphere.

Shadow is BDK’s store Mascot who came to us in 2021. Shadow is a customer favorite as he greets customers at the door. Shadow is a 5-year-old black German Shepherd. Make sure to say HI next time you are in.

Terry is one of our Associates here at BDK and has been with us since 2022. Terry’s fun fact is that he was able to retire after 36 years at another company. He enjoys being around his coworkers and being able to help serve customers with their needs.

Jedd has been an Associate here at BDK since 2022. He is a firefighter and enjoys helping amazing customers. Jedd loves the family atmosphere here at BDK.

Dane started working here at BDK in 2022 as an Associate. A fun fact about Dane is that he is a high school bowler for Blanchester. He loves the people he works with and the atmosphere here at the store.

Mary is our newest Associate here at BDK. She joined our team in 2023. Mary has three beautiful children and works with her father, Bill. She loves all her coworkers and loves the feeling of being a part of a family here at BDK.
